Send a support bundle
Describes RotoScheduler 0.3.3 · checked 2026-10-19 D5
On the desktop, open Settings and find Support bundles. When a bundle is available, click Export latest support bundle… to save a ZIP, or Open support folder to see the local bundles. On Windows, that folder is state\<version>\sessions in your working folder, where <version> is the name of the version's EXE without .exe; on a Mac, ~/Library/Application Support/RotoScheduler 0.3.3/sessions for version 0.3.3, and on Linux ~/.config/RotoScheduler 0.3.3/sessions. On Windows, send the bundle you need before you delete or rename that EXE: a later start of another EXE then deletes the folder (Install the trial). Send an exported ZIP with a few lines on what you were doing, what you expected, what happened and about when, to the address on the About page. A ZIP is small, usually under 100 KB.
After a crash, or after the app was ended in Task Manager, the next start of the same version shows The previous RotoScheduler session ended unexpectedly. The notice's Export bundle… saves the bundle of the session that failed, and so does Export latest support bundle… until you close the app. If the app stops responding, end it in Task Manager and start it again. Once a click has gone unanswered for about 15 seconds, the bundle notes where the app stopped, with a picture of the window.
Bundles can include schedule inputs, schedule documents, settings and the actions used during the session, including each Factory inputs change and each named version listed in Versions. File paths on your computer are blanked out in the ZIP. A crash's dump goes in as it is, and can show folder names and parts of the open plan. Nothing is uploaded automatically. The recording switch and the retention limits control what is kept on this computer; changes take effect at the next launch.
The trial records each session from its first start. To stop, clear Record local support bundles in Settings, click Apply and relaunch.

The app's rules are our reading of the physics; where your plant knows better, the app changes.
