Jobs and exceptions

Describes RotoScheduler 0.2.1 · checked 2026-09-14 D5

The left-hand list shows each job's product, mold, planned quantity against required quantity, and due date. Select a job to read its quantities and its reason in the inspector.

Jobs and exceptions

The three states

State Meaning
Scheduled The job's required quantity is placed on the board.
Unmet Some required parts are still unplanned.
Deferred Demand permitted to wait remains for a later plan.

All shows the full list. Attention shows unmet and deferred jobs. The sample includes both on purpose, so a full-looking board still has work waiting for a decision.

Assign remaining demand by hand

Select the job, choose Cycle slots to assign and click a suitable destination. A cycle slot is one available production turn. An assignment can continue on later configured dates of the same machine and arm. Read the fit result before accepting a warning.

Remove planned work

Select a mold run and use Check unschedule selected run, or select a job and use Check unschedule whole job. Review the result, then confirm the unschedule action. Removing a whole job removes all its planned placements across the schedule. Undo restores an applied change.
