Web App
RotoSpider stores mold rows, custom machine-arm data, display settings, and the latest result in your browser. Creating a share link makes a separate URL copy of the workspace inputs; it does not remove the saved browser copy.
Layout requests
The browser performs Box and Cylinder layout calculations on your device. It sends anonymous candidate scores to the RotoSpider service to confirm which calculated arrangement to display. A compatibility request may send layout inputs when the local browser module cannot start. Layouts containing an exact generated or prepared shape are sent to the RotoSpider service because that geometry is not reduced to a Box or Cylinder.
Exact mold shapes
When you build a generated shape or select a prepared .rotogeom or .rotoshape file, the shape definition or prepared geometry is sent to the RotoSpider public shared service. The service validates it and stores a content-addressed copy and preview so later layout and 3D requests can use the same exact shape. Anyone who has the exact asset identity and revision may retrieve that preview. Cached shapes may remain until storage-capacity eviction or operational removal. Do not upload confidential geometry unless this public capability-link handling is acceptable.
Normal hosting and service logs
Website and service infrastructure may process standard request information such as time, requested URL, browser type, device information, referring page, network address, response status, and request duration. We use this information to deliver the service, limit abuse, monitor capacity, and diagnose failures.
Website analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-GYZNWYM8XJ to understand page use, downloads, and navigation problems. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage and may receive page, referrer, approximate-location, browser, device, and interaction information. Email contact
If you email us, we receive the address, message, and files or factory details you choose to send. Do not send confidential factory data until data handling and access have been agreed.
Your choices
You can delete the saved RotoSpider workspace through your browser’s site-data controls, avoid creating a share link, block analytics through browser privacy controls, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For operational removal of a cached exact shape, use the contact page and provide its asset identity. Blocking analytics does not stop the public pages from loading, but the interactive application requires JavaScript.
