Move a run, then undo

A small move on the sample:

  1. Clear the selection. Go to September 7 in Day and unfold RM-2.
  2. Unfold arm A and click its DEMO-M03 band at cycle 5, without Ctrl. Set Start cycle to 5 and End cycle to 6; the inspector shows 12:20 – 14:24.
  3. Leave the run selected. With focus on the board, press Ctrl+Right to show September 8.
  4. Wait for Finding room… to finish. A green line along arm B marks available room. Use cycle 1 at the left end of that row.
  5. Click that green cycle to move the selected copy there. It occupies cycles 1 and 2 on RM-2 arm B, September 8.
  6. Click Undo to put it back. Redo repeats the move; Undo again restores the original sample plan.

The board shows September 8; the inspector still names RM-2 arm A on September 7, cycles 5 to 6. The green line on arm B marks room for the move.

The moved DEMO-M03 copy is selected on RM-2 arm B, September 8: cycles 1 to 2, 08:10 to 10:21. The plan line shows one saved move applied.

Green and red room

Green space is where the selected range has room. The app checks the destination before applying the move. If it asks for confirmation, read the warning in the inspector before applying. A refusal leaves the plan unchanged and says why. At a wider span, a drop on a green day box chooses the first suitable stretch on that arm-day.

A move takes one mold copy over the selected cycles, not every copy of the mold. Undo and Redo, or Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y outside a text field, step through applied changes.
