AI assistants · MCP

Ask the question. Check the actual geometry.

An MCP-capable assistant can collect mold and arm details in conversation, then call RotoSpider for the physical layout decision instead of guessing from text.

Connection

Add one custom MCP server

Step 1

Open your connector settings

Use an assistant or client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP.

Step 2

Paste the endpoint

Name the connection “RotoSpider” and use the endpoint below.

https://www.rotospider.com/roto/mcp
Step 3

Ask with dimensions

State mold shape, dimensions, quantity, and units. The assistant can ask for missing arm or clearance details.

Example question

Use the assistant for the conversation, RotoSpider for the fit.

The assistant can organize the inputs and explain the result. RotoSpider remains responsible for whether the requested molds fit the specified arm and spider geometry.

Can two 720 × 520 × 420 mm molds and two 640 × 610 × 380 mm molds share the CS-10000 public-sample arm with 300 mm clearance?
What comes back

A checkable layout answer

  • Whether every requested mold was placed
  • Requested and placed counts by mold type
  • Clearance and spider utilization
  • Selected riser for an Offset/L arm when applicable
  • Placement coordinates tied to the arm geometry

Safe working boundary

Confirm real factory data before production use

Good use of an assistant

Gather and normalize mold master data, propose a mold group, call RotoSpider, compare returned options, and explain the result to a planner.

What it should not assume

It should not infer that molds fit from names or prose, invent machine dimensions, or treat representative public-sample geometry as certified factory data.

The public MCP service is for evaluation and has no production service-level agreement. Do not send confidential orders or master data until data handling and access have been agreed.

Planning an assistant or factory pilot?

Discuss the machine geometry, mold data, and working boundary with the representative for your region.
